Manuel transferred from Sacramento City College prior to being admitted as a student at UC Davis. Manuel is majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

He is a part of the ASBMB Club at UC Davis. He currently serves at the club's treasurer. Manuel has become more involved on campus by participating in Olympic Weightlifting classes to help him continue his passion and training. He is also interning abroad in Bolivia. 

What does a "day in the life" of a Biological Sciences student look like?

"Being a student in the Biological Sciences is difficult but rewarding. You will have long lab days and long nights of studying. You will even question if you are studying enough, and efficiently for the upcoming exam.
